Family, community, enthusiasm, positivity, excellent sales experience.
Cons
The person they’re selling to is YOU. What they’re selling is a pipe dream of non existent personal revenue. Yes theyll say I’m lying and you can do well. Pros
Some of the people are pretty cool.
Cons
Pay is so low that I barely break even after paying for childcare. While some departments are allowed to work 100% remote, other departments do not remote at all or are on hybrid schedule. The schedule you are on for frequency or days for remote work can be changed randomly and without your consent. You cannot move within the company until after one year, and your manager can opt to block you after a year if they so choose. Getting past the gatekeepers at HR is almost impossible. The job I do should only reasonably require a high school diploma. I couldn't get an interview until I had a BSIT. After earning my BSIT, I applied for tech-related jobs and never even got a call back. It's an MLM. Not this specific role, but you are basically working for the headquarters of Mary Kay, but for insurance. It feels smarmy. Lots of fake cheerleading.
