Positive filled environment
Sept 21, 2018 - Child Care Supervisor in Fort McMurray, ABRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
*Super positive environment, there are many people from all backgrounds, beliefs, ages and stages of their life. *If you decide to explore what it is about simply googling is not going to do it. You need to spend the $128 to take the courses. It teaches you ethics, taxes, insurances etc... It normally would cost you for the same courses in college 1200+. Even if you don't want to be apart of it the education of your own finances is worth it. *Not just anyone one can make it. You need to be dedicated and want it. *It's not a get rich quick scheme you are paid what you are worth. If you don't try or do any work you won't get paid. If you try your hardest and put your all into and are resilient you can make it. *You get paid 8 different ways!!! Not just one way. *You can properly protect the ones you love and care about. *You can control all of your own finances learn and grow as you go. *Self development. It teaches you to be positive appreciate what you have and how to be strong. *You can be part time and there is no risk to your current career *You get to travel to parts of the world you never thought you could afford or even wanted to visit.
Cons
*How ignorant people get when you ask for help for just training. *You have to work hard!!! *Realizing who your true friends and family are.

Pros
Some of the people are pretty cool.
Cons
Pay is so low that I barely break even after paying for childcare. While some departments are allowed to work 100% remote, other departments do not remote at all or are on hybrid schedule. The schedule you are on for frequency or days for remote work can be changed randomly and without your consent. You cannot move within the company until after one year, and your manager can opt to block you after a year if they so choose. Getting past the gatekeepers at HR is almost impossible. The job I do should only reasonably require a high school diploma. I couldn't get an interview until I had a BSIT. After earning my BSIT, I applied for tech-related jobs and never even got a call back. It's an MLM. Not this specific role, but you are basically working for the headquarters of Mary Kay, but for insurance. It feels smarmy. Lots of fake cheerleading.
