Pros

It was a good work environment, we had fun, listened to music etc.

Cons

It was contract work, so if our manager underestimated how long it would take to do a job, we paid for it by working for a lower hourly wage. Sometimes it was vastly over estimated and the lowest hourly wage was 5.50 and hour. We were contracted on 11 something an hour but usually made 10-10.50 and hour. Pay day was always disappointing because I would work more than 40 hrs a week sometimes and get paid so little. We also "had to" participate in door to door marketing everyday after work. This would sometimes be 1-2 hours of unpaid labour depending on if people were interested. Sometimes we cleaned up, sometimes we got nothing. Sometimes people gave me their phone number because they felt bad for me and knew I was probably making nothing (people in the beaches YOU ROCK). Door-to-door was mostly just abuse. Some people take it as a personal insult when you knock on their door even if you aren't selling something.
