Stick with Plan A - Anonymous employee Plan B Employee Review

Every day starts with a morning “gauntlet” session where the mood of the entire meeting is dictated by the emotions of the Partners. Overall every day is a challenge and you never know what you are going to get. You will get thrown under the bus if something goes wrong with a project even when the Partners decided upon the entire idea. When I was recruited for this position I was told that Plan B is a collaborative environment. This is far from the truth. What the Partners say goes and there is no discussion about it. The office is old and dirty. There aren’t any actual conference rooms, rather just ¾ walls so it’s very noisy which makes it hard to have conference calls with clients. Management tried to resolve this issue by installing meat locker looking curtains but unfortunately that does not do much. No actual kitchen to eat lunch in so you have to eat at your desk. They have had several fruit fly infestations, which makes eating at the office gross anyway. There are 3 unisex bathrooms that are disgusting. They are dirty and the walls are paper thin, which can get uncomfortable. I personally witnessed many fellow employees get yelled at by a Partner to the point that they left in tears. Annual reviews are a joke. You go to a restaurant around the corner and the entire time consists of the Partners bashing the employee and they encourage people to do the same. Rather than focusing on positive characteristics or constructive criticism the entire session is extremely toxic. It’s hard to focus on being a strategic partner for clients when the Partners constantly talk very negative about the people that help pay the bills. It’s extremely uncomfortable when they come to visit and one of the Partners will not even say hello to them.
