Cons
The majority of the groomers that I worked with were absolutely terrible people. If you have a real passion for the welfare of animals I do not recommend working here. I witnessed verbal and physical abuse of the animals in our care way too many times, and as a new employee I would be yelled at constantly by management when I asked questions or took too much time to get a job done with more care. When I say abuse I mean groomers would literally grab the animals very harshly either by lead or by their paws, sometimes dragging them across the floors, shaking them and screaming profanities in their faces as though that would ever calm an animal down. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends or family for grooming care because the the people cannot be trusted to care for anything but their schedule and sales. The business is very fast paced and money based. The meetings held were only to discuss quotas and sales with no regard for how the animals themselves were being treated. A horrible community along with many horrible stories of terrifying deaths and abuse of animals that have gone wrong in this corporate industry. It was an easy decision when I quit in just one month.
