Pros
* Most of the people are very nice and intelligent * The OptiScanner could be revolutionary and save lives * New CEO is taking some promising steps to change from an research to a production company * Some squeaky wheels are getting the oil they need * Good work/life balance
Cons
* Priorities change frequently and are poorly communicated * Different departments do not communicate or coordinate well, though this is improving * Serious quality and process problems make life difficult for everybody, yet there is strangely no will to fix them * At the moment, there is a lot of pressure not to report quality issues, not to make a fuss, and this results in other problems * Morale is low * People are afraid to speak up
