      Pros

Opencare is one of the best companies I have worked for with some of the smartest and brightest individuals. Contrary to some reviews, the team is lead by knowledgable, empathic and well rounded leaders/ executives. Some of the perks/ pros of working for Opencare are 100% remote working with a culture that embraces work life balance. Opencare offers unlimited PTO which shows a level of trust among employees and the company to use the time off when you need it to rest and recharge. If that's not enough, the company also shuts down during the Christmas break as a thank you for all the work done during the year. Other perks include - company grant options, health and dental coverage, opportunities for growth and learning, a leadership team that is receptive to feedback and continued recognition from immediate and cross functional teams for job well done

      Cons

Since Opencare is so receptive to feedback, there aren't any cons as it stands. However, if Opencare could implement an RRSP program for current employees, that would be great

          Pros

Opencare is one of the most supportive and positive working environments I have ever been part of. We have a team full of creative, dedicated people who are passionate about our mission and are passionate about helping each other. I have grown leaps and bounds during my time here and have been heavily invested in by my direct leader. Our CEO is boots on the ground and truly invested in everyone's development. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity I have been given and highly recommend Opencare to anyone

Today HR called me for telling me that they are interested in hiring me (we discussed salary and starting date to draft the contract) but they have to wait till end of next week since by company policy the position has to stay x days opened in the internal website. They do not expect anyone to apply but they can send me the contract only by the 10 Oct. Should I sent a thank you note again after this conversation?

For all people working in Big4 and other big companies when the job application asks for the local language how true is it? My local office asks for the local language in their job postings but I know there are some people who do not speak it. If I apply for a position that asks for the local language what are my chances? Do you have to interview again if you didn’t get the job the first time but the HM wants you to apply to the additional positions that opened up a few months after?
