Pros

Good idea of a software product for the real estate sector.

Cons

CEO doesn’t trust employees to do their jobs so he obsessively micromanages most functions or projects. Because there’s no solid plan in place, critical decisions are made whenever the CEO’s panic buttons are pushed. Scope is changing overnight but there’s an intense pressure to deliver whatever the CEO considers to be high quality work - within unrealistic time frames and budgets. Employees’ professional expertise comes second to the CEO’s opinions and conflict isn’t managed constructively. This creates a toxic environment governed by uncertainty, where people end up pushing their own agendas, in a panic race to prove themselves to the CEO.

Pros

Not much at all. They claim they're a startup, but they are really far from it. Nice idea but they over state it massively!

Cons

- No strategy - Far below market pay - Equity options are also far below market - No learning or development

Pros

The founder’s vision and business acumen are exceptionally clear. His intellect, pace of decision-making, and drive set an inspiring tone for the whole company. Over the past 18 months, the business has undergone a major transformation, successfully finding strong product–market fit and achieving impressive growth as a result. It genuinely feels like an exciting place to be at a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. The culture is fast-paced and demanding, but for motivated individuals, the opportunities for growth are outstanding. Initiative is recognised, professional development is encouraged, and high performers can progress quickly. The work is varied, challenging, and genuinely stimulating. On a personal note, while expectations are high, the company also demonstrates real humanity when it matters. During a difficult bereavement, the CEO and wider team showed remarkable empathy and support, which meant a great deal to me at the time.

Cons

Things are moving very quickly - this is startup culture at its best, but only for those who are prepared for a dynamic pace
