I have been working at O2 part-time

Pros

Good pay, quarterly bonus, yearly bonus, flexibility with shifts, staff phone plan and 60 friends and family discounts.

Cons

Sales targets that can be very high, having to work weekends and early on iphone launches

Advice to Management

Sales targets have to be brought down when most of the region are not able to hit them.

    Constantly driving up targets, making them less and less realistic.

    I worked at O2 part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    60 friends and family discount
    Great brand to have on a CV
    Amazing people behind the brand
    Good personal line deals
    Can be flexible unless your in retail
    Decent uniform

    Cons

    Customer excellence and Qudini is a farce
    Regional Managers only care about numbers and turn a blind eye to fraudulent activity.
    So much pressure to hit KPIs
    Staffing issues have been getting worse. The company is losing more people then gaining them.
    Salary is the lowest in the sector.
    Management slack while advisers make up for the slack.
    Impossible to get time off due to staffing issues.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to the way you used to be. O2 used to have such great perks but most importantly looked after its staff. Those days seem to be long gone.
