Low Pay
Poor benefits
No advancement opportunities
Novolex has a lot of problems and a few perks. Management in charge of bids, contracts, and pricing is competent, experienced and dedicated. Unfortunately, their hands are tied by senior management. They refuse to offer competitive pay, raises for experienced staff, or any career trajectory. There simply isn't anything to aim for. You will have the opportunity to take on different projects and grow your responsibilities, but this won't come with a bigger paycheck. As a result, the entire department turns over every two years on average as any valuable employees move on to other opportunities. This also results in a high level of frustration from the sales team and customers, as half the department is constantly in training.

There is no such thing as flex time or work from home.
