1. Quality of Life 2. Forced Overtime 3. A punishment oriented, toxic, and abusive work environment. 4. Incompetent and irresponsible superior officers. 5. Mismanagement and lack of communication between members of all ranks. 6. Substandard equipment from broken printers to inoperable vehicles.

Pros
Decent Health Insurance & very hard to get fired unless you really do something wild .
Cons
1. You don't get to chose your hours you work you have to take whatever is available based on what command you are sent to. 2. You don't know where you will be placed you can be sent to any of the 5 boroughs to work . 3. the hours are not flexible your tour is your tour and you can't change it 4. there is no way for civilians to earn overtime in time or cash 5. no bonuses ever, no promotions , not even a pizza party 6. they place most black female workers in the most dangerous areas and give them the most dangerous tours to work. 7. no break rooms no where to sit to ever take an actual break 8. vacations need to be put in 2 months in advanced to be approved
