Pros
- Decent pay - Good and bright environment (recently renovated office) - Location is prime - Older colleagues are very good and kind - Not the strictest "Japanese" culture here as most would think
Cons
- Management lacks clear direction / management have their own politics - Reward system is based on how many boots you lick and how long you OT (even if you have no work and you are just chatting on the phone). As a result, the team is a very unproductive one and no substantial work is done. Unfortunately, you will also not learn much here. - Team can be streamlined but management might keep employees just because they are in favour leading to an increase in expenses. - Wastage of man hours for repeated and unnecessary tasks. - Benefits are not at market rate. HR could be more humane. - Not sure about progression in this company
