Pros

Great and motivated people. As a salesperson, Products that are flexible that support a business that is evolving, that don't box the business in but help it accelerate both technically and commercially. A working environment that continually strives to be better that changes when change is needed. A clear strategy that is focused on business outcomes and not just being a cool technology, which it is. An environment where we can challenge each other and have the right to do so.

Cons

Growing quickly has meant the wrong people have been hired. Who have left. This has had passing negative impact. We can run out of resources because demand is ahead of supply as it should be, within limits, in a healthy business. Overall, there are not big cons for me. I was moved to write this as there are some negative reviews on Sydney and I just don't get it. Unless you want to put your feet up, then it makes sense.

Pros

If you have great Core AEs, you get to do the fun part of sales which is selling. The product is good and we are constantly evolving our product. Salesforce install base and name recognition helps get you a lot of at bats.

Cons

SMB culture can be draining. There is less emphasis on being a strategic product expert and more on volume based selling. This may be where the business needs to go, but logging every minute of your day, being a great co prime, and functioning as a BDR is tough. There are also a lot of stellar performers and others on the exact same team who may have closed nothing.
