Pros

Wonderful co-workers who were always available as resources.

Cons

Clinical Manager unavailable as a resource person. Often nurses left to find out their own answers to questions about policy/procedures. CM was quick to to write people up or intimidtae them. Never, never positive feedback for a job well done. Overwhelming case loads while participation in committees was mandated.

Pros

Great environment to work, lots of positivity from the nursing staff where everyone is made to feel important and appreciated as part of a team.

Cons

Was recently let go of despite having a pristine work record, picked up as often as possible, highly valued by peers, patients and nursing staff alike. Prior to being terminated, I was told an investigation would be necessary and when I got a call back they stated they had concluded their investigation and let me go. Management never asked appropriate follow up questions and did not have any visual proof of hearsay info. It’s been 2 weeks and I have still yet to get my final wages. When I reached out to HR, they didn’t even acknowledge what I was asking and they said I was not eligible for PTO (which I already knew and wasn’t even asking for). I am still waiting on my final wages from when I was working in the unit.
