Pros
Flexible hours, great if you’re an athlete and have summer activities. Free drinks! Overall good pay, depends on how long you have been there and your position. Great team, everyone is pretty nice there. Not too many rude customers. You can do your own thing when you’re early.
Cons
Starting salary is low, hard working employees who have worked there for awhile should get paid more, especially since Mallards is only open for 4 months. They can afford it. Depending where you work you get some to no tips. Doesn’t allow sitting even when there’s no customers. VERY hot, and on rainy days I’ve seen other employees get soaked in the rain due to having no roof at the cotton candy stand. Can have some late nights or very early mornings and your feet will hurt like crazy. Lastly, no breaks, even if you’ve worked for 10 hours, the only people who get breaks are higher ups and are usually in the office.
