Pros

This company has some of the best colleagues you can think of. Everyone here is nice and very helpful. Great benefits.

Cons

There is one upper management in particular that should make an effort to be more approachable. Be careful about what is said in the office because this person will easily misconstrue your words. If you're at the bottom of the barrel, good luck getting a "Hello" from them. There has been numerous times where this person would pass me by and won't say a word, but once someone higher walks by, they will start talking. Also, if you get on their bad side, you will be single out. Don't believe anything they say, it might sound trustworthy, but once you walk away, it's a whole different story.

Sorry to hear this reviewer is experiencing so much difficulty - he/she could have valuable feedback, which if delivered internally, could be acted on. Correction: Bonuses and merit increases are performance based. Our CEO is actually considered by most employees as supportive egalitarian and approachable.

Pros

This was my first job after college and I was able to gain valuable marketing experience. My bosses were very supportive and helped me develop my first portfolio with marketing materials.

Cons

The pay was less than ideal, but it was a good opportunity to develop a foundation in marketing.

Pros

Everyday I feel like I have the opportunity to learn and contribute to something new even if it is just an incremental change. Employees are very respectful even if technical arguments can sometimes be a bit heated. Senior leadership have a shared belief in experimentation and not just sticking with what works and this is reflected in both the scope and quality of the work produced. I have only ever heard one person say 'that is not my job' by and large everyone pitches in as needed and many folks wear several hats. In spite of a 2.5+ hour daily commute I love working at a company where everyone recognizes the value of shared success.

Cons

MLSListings does so many things at once, is constantly evolving, and has so many talented people that at times it can be hard to keep track of it all without being overwhelmed. Due to the nature of MLSListings business model and the approachability of senior management; the loudest customers can at times divert resources to fixing specific niche cases that benefit a minority of our total customer base. Employees leave or let go from the company generally without any communication which can cause some confusion as to roles and responsibilities.

This employee-reviewer has a valid point - the company's swift response to a vocal customer can cause a sudden change in priorities. Adaptability to change, and flexibility are core competencies to succeed in today's fast paced environment with a constantly changing landscape. As an internet and software development company, we are subject to constant disruption, that can change our direction and priorities unexpectedly.
