Pros

Incredible Mission & Impact: LaunchGood is an organization where your work directly changes lives. The sense of purpose here is unmatched, making even the most challenging days feel worthwhile. Strong Team Culture: The people at LaunchGood are some of the most passionate, driven, and mission-focused individuals you'll ever work with. There’s a deep sense of camaraderie, and the team spirit is energizing. Interdepartmental Collaboration & Support: One of the biggest strengths of LaunchGood is how well teams work together. Whether it’s tech, marketing, business development, or customer support, there’s a real sense of unity, and everyone is willing to step in and help. The shared commitment to the mission fosters an environment where you feel supported and valued. Dynamic & Fast-Paced Growth: The culture is constantly evolving, offering endless opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. If you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, this is the place for you.

Cons

Compensation vs. Workload: Salaries are good but don’t fully reflect the level of responsibility, pressure, and impact of the work—especially when compared to industry. The workload can be intense, and fairer compensation models would help retain top talent. High Demands & Constant Connectivity: The nature of the work, particularly in business development and flash, requires constant engagement, quick responses, and deep involvement. The expectation to always be "on" can make it hard to disconnect, leading to burnout if not managed properly. Pressure to Deliver: Because the work is so impactful, there’s a lot of pressure to perform at a high level. While this can be motivating, it can also be overwhelming without the right support structures in place.

Pros

Muslim Environment, value aligned. great co-workers

Cons

Executive leadership is disorganized and frequently unprofessional, creating a chaotic work environment. Compensation is well below market, seemingly justified by an assumption that Muslim employees will accept lower pay in exchange for working at a mission-driven organization. Work hours are long, often exceeding nine hours per day. Although the company advertises flexible PTO, requests are closely scrutinized and frequently denied, with PTO effectively unavailable for the month leading up to Ramadan and during Ramadan itself—despite this being one of the busiest periods. There is significant turnover within the Shura (senior leadership), largely attributable to ineffective executive leadership. Leadership just want people to agree with them. Anything outside of this will result in bad performance ratings. There is a lot of religious abuse. We make duaa before and after meetings but spend the whole meeting talking poorly of others.
