Pros
- Allowed full discretion to set own hours (more recent hires are only contracted 50hrs a month - easy to meet very quickly) - full discretion over teaching - Excellent pay progression (up to £5 per hour extra per year) - can work extra hours at same rate and have the pay advanced to you - travel expenses can be zero
Cons
- no office (depends on how you look at it tho, this could be a pro) - pension is only 3% employer contribution until 3rd year when it rises to 5% - need to supply own work laptop
