    Mixed Bag

    Pros

    Great benefits, no suits and ties needed, well-known company with a decent reputation, decent pay, small yearly pay raises, lots of nice coworkers who care about what they're doing, opportunities for advancement and/or lateral movement to other teams

    Cons

    Huge company, lots of bureaucracy, poor communication between departments and teams, fragile and sometimes old IT infrastructure that breaks often, nice coworkers can still make bad decisions, permanent use of contract employees, have to provide most of your own tools, unrealistic expectations of productivity, clueless Tier 1 technical support. Morale has taken a nosedive since mid 2020, at least in the Washington region, which is partially due to the pandemic but at least as much due to the increasingly heavy hand and missteps of KP National. (I'll be surprised if they don't get sued one day over not paying their employees for the ridiculous amount of time it often takes to clock in using their new HR and time keeping system.)
