Pros

Great technology in a niche market

Cons

Everything is dictated by the the legal team. You cannot do anything without legal. You cannot have an idea without Legal approving. your employement agreement will be 16 pages of all the legal things you can't do after you leave, read everything! Don't trust them, they do not care about you, only about themselves.

Pros

Jupiter Power provides exposure to meaningful, complex work in the energy storage space, and there are opportunities to take on real responsibility and grow professionally. The company has talented, motivated employees and a collaborative culture across many teams. One of the most rewarding aspects of working at Jupiter is the ability to work on projects that are tangible and impactful for grid reliability and energy infrastructure. Employees are often trusted to manage significant scopes of work and contribute directly to company goals. The pace can be fast but it also creates strong learning opportunities and broad experience.

Cons

Like many high-growth companies, priorities can shift quickly and workloads can be intense at times. Processes and systems are still evolving as the company scales but there is clear effort from leadership to refine processes and support long-term growth.

Pros

Amazing people, good benefits, generous equity.

Cons

The company operates in a culture of fear, with reports of retaliation and the secret monitoring of employees' computer activities. The CEO is aware of many irregularities but chooses to overlook them. Promotions are driven by favoritism, and some departments are staffed with unqualified individuals. Company-wide meetings have an unsettling "supreme leader" vibe, where seasoned employees actively flatter leadership, turning it into a competition to see who can praise the C-suite the most. Senior leadership refuses to take questions anonymously. It's a shame because most employees are great people. Some members of the C-suite use authoritarian tactics and openly admit to favoritism.
