          Pros

I like the team I work with, Everyone is very approachable and kind from the managers to co-workers. I also get to work one day from home which makes my time here a little better.

          Cons

First the commute, The airport location is too far and it often takes about 4-5 hours total to commute! The contract is low paying but they make it seem that if you do well in the role the company will hire you. After trying my best and getting good feedback from my managers I still won't get hire. The plan is just to renew my low paying contract. Making about $700 a week as an analyst with a masters degree should be a joke. Second, nobody here does what an analyst is supposed to do. Mainly all analyst do clerical work. I believe that that should be stated in the job description rather than making it seen like you would be dealing with data. I'm ready to leave this work behind. If you see contract work as Analyst do not fall for it, It will take years for the company to hire you and pay you half decently.

Is it normal that after the pre-interview with HR, and after he mentioned I would have the first interview with manager xx, he just disappeared? I sent an email and called the office a week later but no answers from him. Is this the way KPMG recruit people? He also contacted me two months later from the day I applied.

I've been on the job market for the past 4 months, facing challenges with securing interviews. I'm contemplating enrolling in Career Elevator (www.mycareerelevator.com) to refine my interview skills. Additionally, I'm intrigued by ApplyAll.com, a tool for automating job applications. Has anyone used either program to enhance their job search? I'm eager to learn more and would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you might have! Thank you in advance for your help!

        Manager

Confused. Currently working for a mid sized firm with big clients but have been offered a role through my network for a relatively small startup but a with higher designation / lead role & similar salary to my existing pay. The new role is more strategy + lead but non technical while my current role is managerial level but more technical. If in my position, would you stay in your current role or take the new one?? Happy to answer follow up questions. Thank you.
