Pros

Fair HR policies; pleasant folks at the business-end of the organization; NA IT management genuinely interested in promoting growth of an individual - lots of emphasis on training and skill development

Cons

UK-based IT leadership is inherently political, bureaucratic and lacks experience in rolling out enterprise solutions -leading to slow, inefficient, and inadequate IT systems - that, in turn, will adversely impact growth in a luxury auto segment that demands excellence in every customer interaction. Further, a majority of the employees are not equipped to deliver top-notch solutions/service with the appalling systems environment in which they are expected to work in. Recourse to correct the anomalies do not exist as this is a UK-dominated political organization structure, that is severely out of touch with basic requirements in an NA market - which, ironically, is where the projected growth in the next 5 years is. The UK bias is also evident in the disproportionate needs-to-spend ratio in the IT budget.

Pros

- Amazing work culture and work life balance - As a designer the world is your oyster of how you want to grow and develop - Manager is amazing at communicating your needs and empathizing with you - Everyone is driven to be a better designer and so much support from everyone

Cons

- Having to work sometimes really early or nighttime due to time zone differences with some of the people we work with - Projects & goals sometimes have to change in the week to better fit business needs and team goals.

Pros

Great work life balance Supportive environment

Cons

If you fall in the less than 3 years experience bucket, your best shot is the new graduate positions which have terrible pay and full-time employment after 2-years is not guaranteed.
