Pros
Straight out of school hire with a slightly higher base salary then other secondment companies. They allowed me to start at the company i was assigned to despite normally using the competitor clause to block these types of transition.
Cons
When you are on a job there was barely any contact. The purpose of secondment is to quickly work for different companies and gain a lot of IT knowledge but they just placed you whereever regardless of the job. Spent 3 days putting letters in envelops together with vpn ubi keys. They tried to place me at a company where I basically had to do debt collection which is a finance job and not IT. Finally landed a good opportunity with a big firm where I stuck around for 4 years. The construction was actually rediculious as there were 3 secondment firms in between me and the job all taking a piece of the pie. Left after 4.5 years or so to work for a company directly instead of secondment.
