Pros

A few laboratory girls in Brasov, Romania, were nice. Otherwise, nothing. Maybe just the city of Brasov. Yes, this was beautiful.

Cons

Its just mafia! First they required me to use my own car, as the factory was outside the city of Brasov. After I agreed, they submitted a rental contract, with a clause which made possible for Intersnack that, after I leave the company, they can continue to use MY CAR if they pay 20 euros/day. :)))) Obviously, I said no. My role was NPD manager. When I arrived there, the QA manager, my direct boss, asked me to perform all compliance evaluations and review of labels, besides the main job. I explained her that I could not do it, as it was not sufficient time for both, and she let me know that I must find a solution. Of course, the solution was overtime. They requested -and gave examples, as most of them did so - to work every day until 2 am in the morning, without being paid tge extra hours!!!!!! After one month, when they saw that I refused to work until 2 am without being paid, let me know that they wish to end the contract. Were shocked when I told them I also took this decision 2 weeks before. I just took my things and left. They were dissapointed that I "run away", as their HR Admin mentioned. The same HR which "forgot" to pay me 2 days. Concluding, a disaster company, a huge chaos, and the desire to use its employees as slaves, and, if it is possible, to rob them as much as they can.

Pros

A few colleagues (not the majority) were genuinely great to work with. Lots of coffee and snacks available. Basic training requirements were covered.

Cons

Leadership was completely ineffective, creating constant frustration. Due to leadership having a neverending nap, IT suppliers were essentially allowed to run the show. They exploited the lack of oversight, did whatever they wanted, and faced zero pushback. There was essentially no support when issues arose. A majority of managers just “went with it,” showing little initiative or willingness to improve anything.
