I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Company has been good for many years, but with the new CEO, things have gone downhill for the employees. Flexible work schedule, good benefits, ok pay, cutting edge technology and processes and many managers are working with their employees try to continue to make them happy.
Cons
CEO is old school (be in the office every day from 8 - 5, employees can't be trusted to do what they need to do and must be micromanaged (even if many of them have been doing it for longer than he's been at Intel or have a Doctorate), wants to replace people who know what they are doing with off shore and new college grad resources. He recently put in place a new process for defining who will be let go without... communicating to the employees or the managers. Many managers were blind sided by the changes and lost really good employees that they can never bring back in the door (again due to his changes) even if the employee actually was a really good employee without any issues and the management wanted to keep them. Still using outdated process of forcing managers to meet defined percentiles, rather than allowing managers free reign to define how employees should be ranked. Believes in giving 'benefits' over salary raises because benefits can vary year to year or be reduced/removed so people are under paid compared to industry standards.
Long hours because you will have to work with other time zones and countries, especially with the management moving everything off shore.

Advice to Management
Get rid of the CEO and find someone who will help you keep good people and help improve morale vs making everyone nervous come focal and wanting to escape the pressure, uncertainty and being overworked and underpaid.
