Pros
- Great colleagues and friendly environment in the Barcelona office. - Flexible schedule. - Competitive salary.
Cons
- Lack of a development process due to management's unwillingness to follow methodologies. No meaningful planning nor requirements. Re-implementing things over and over again and last minute changes is common practice. - You will get a card to check-in and check-out in the office. They track your working hours to the minute. Crazy this happens in a tech company in 21st century. - The product, although technically challenging, is completely out of sync with the rest of the world. Constantly trying very hard to answer the wrong technical questions. - Old school, slow moving company. - No career plan. Not a single performance review from my manager during my time there. - Every year around April the company hosts its main event. Expect to work lots of overtime, including weekends, for at least two weeks straight. You might also have to travel to the outskirts of Vienna during this time. Overtime is not payed. - The Barcelona offices are in bad shape and outdated. I was told it was only temporary. Not true. They've been there since they opened the Barcelona office +4 years ago. - Although it's a relatively big company there is no middle management. You will, like most people, respond directly to the Vice President. Heavy micromanagement from his behalf. - Huge egos among senior management make them oblivious about the mistakes they make.
