Well respected in the climate science-policy world, with many top level researchers carrying out impactful work.
Lots of employee driven social events, especially throughout the summer, with some really great people from all over the world.
Beautifully located in a refurbished Habsburg castle connected to a large public park.
Cons
Excessive top-down control from the directorate level (new executive solicited input from researchers and staff for months with workshops and open documents, then ignored the results)
Some resistance to innovating, though maybe not across all programs
