Pros
The people I look after are verbal and non verbal. Each of them have a unique way of communicating. When you are with them daily. You absorb and automatically know what they want and don't want. It's like your family member interacting with you. I came from a family of eight children. It has grown over time with my daughter and wife, our parents, brothers and sisters, siblings spouses, and their own children. A lot of interaction and unique way on dealing with each wonderful personalities.
Cons
Challenges are part of our daily life. The most are ones I cannot control. When they are in pain or are sick, are situations we can still help them the best we can. But sometimes, we can only hold their hand to let them know, we are there for them. They are not alone.
