Pros
The best of the best coworkers.
Cons
I worked at Hunter Recruiting as a recruiter and would not recommend it. Policies, rules, and the bonus structure are constantly changing — I experienced two different bonus plans within six months. There is very little work-life balance, and employees are expected to come in early, stay late, and make up any time missed for things like doctor’s appointments, even if you arrive early or work extra hours elsewhere in the week.
While they advertise work-from-home flexibility, it’s misleading. Your every move is monitored, making it easier to just go into the office. Leadership plays favorites, and it’s well known. There’s a culture of fear — managers frequently put employees on PIPs, try to push people out, or look for reasons to fire them. Many managers aren’t equipped to manage or support their teams effectively.
The company also requires signing a restrictive non-compete agreement that severely limits your ability to work elsewhere after leaving. Overall, the environment is toxic and stressful. If you value respect, consistency, or genuine leadership, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
