Pros
The pay and benefits for a medicare sales representative are great. You're not in an office all day. The Medicare Advantage products are really some of the best around.
Cons
Not many opportunities for advancement. Very political. Forced to sell overpriced proprietary products for which you will not be adequately compensated. No set job description-- expected to perform sales, customer service, marketing, provider relations,and clerical functions.
