Pros
People are really funny. Smart & funny. Like laugh out loud funny. In meetings & remotely. EVERYDAY!!! Also inclusive & respectful & supportive of one another & super strong moral compass (on an individual level & as an organization) Impactful mission with everyone aligned. They live their mission of decentralization. Transparent. Definitely not a waterfall method of management. No BS here...just a bunch of people working toward building net positive, impactful stuff. Oh and free lunch, and promotes remote working, and we may or may not have a robot where remote workers can log in to hang out with HQ. Everyone seems happy. No weird office politics or cliques. The whole company gets together a couple of times per year to bond, at conferences or retreats.
Cons
Coming from more traditional working environments such as centralized companies, it may take some getting use to with communication within the company. It's not easy to be so open and transparent.
