Pros

1. The products are great and HemoCue is the market leader in point-of-care hemoglobin testing. The quality of the devices is very important to the company and it's easy to stand behind the products with confidence. 2. The company culture at HemoCue is truly great. I've never worked with a better group of people. HemoCue truly feels like a family. 3. Management actually listens. When you work at HemoCue, you actually have a voice. Management at all levels takes an interest in the thoughts and feelings of employees.

Cons

The only con would be that the pipeline of new products to the US is a tad slow, but it's improving and is vastly better than it was only a few years ago. Progress is definitely being made.

Pros

- The teams we work with are close and the people are great - The product portfolio is smaller so it's easy to learn your products - It's a small company and small company feel, but you have the muscle of Danaher behind you, which is a huge benefit - Management is open and transparent, from front-line managers all the way up to the president; if you have a question, it's a safe environment to ask it - Work/life balance is important to everyone - People don't "pull rank" and all levels are approachable and open

Cons

- It's a small product portfolio so the opportunities for a larger sell are limited - We haven't launched a major new product in a while - No dedicated training team - The company is small so there aren't a lot of upward opportunities, though expanding to other Danaher OpCos is encouraged

Pros

You could do the job in your sleep

Cons

* 8 out of 11 new hires in 2024 have left within the last 60 days * Overall pay is extremely low in regards to commission/bonus structure * ASM’s are all toxic in nature (examples: they are emotional immature, dishonest, belittling, egocentric, and Sr. Mngt covers it up for them/HR) * You are sent demo device and never trained on some of them yet expected to demo to providers-which makes no sense * Zero safe space for employees to learn, be candid and truthful * Little room for career development (Some reps have been here 20+ years as a TR) * Watched a colleague go through public humiliation after being assaulted by a manager * HR is a nightmare. Not trustworthy and covers up mngr mistakes and aggression taken out on employees * Management has low to no integrity, morals or ethics * Recommended only to break in to device sales, not for a seasoned, talented representative * The TR role is unchallenging
