Pros

Lots of autonomy and a bright technical staff

Cons

Constantly shifting directions with little consistent strategic direction. The company started with a good vision, but has been broken up into two independent pieces that are run by the financial investors. All of the good leadership left the company six months ago.

Haystax Technology Response
9y
In February of this year Haystax Technology split into two companies to focus on two areas of competency. NetCentrics - focusing on IT and cybersecurity services for major federal agencies and Haystax Technology - focusing on security analytics products. One of reasons for the split was the different cultures between the two companies. The CEO of NetCentrics is Bob Dougherty and the CEO of Haystax Technology is Bryan Ware. Bryan, was the founder and CEO of Digital Sandbox, a risk analytics company that is now Haystax Technology. We are proud of the fact that this year Haystax Technology (the product company) has had 0% attrition of employees (yes, that is correct) and we have not lost a customer in 3 years. We take great pride in our products, our employees and most importantly in serving our wonderful customers. Note to NetCentrics employees: If you're a current or former NetCentrics employee, please post on the NetCentrics Glassdoor and not here, which is the site for Haystax Technology.

Pros

As a Software Developer, the chance to learn new technologies such as Docker. Flexible, results driven work environment. Knowledgeable, hard working coworkers.

Cons

This might be a pro to some people, but working in Tysons Corner was quite a con in my opinion. Horrible traffic all around.
