Pros

As an employee, they give you free coaching

Cons

Nothing is private. They demand to know everything about you in a cult-like fashion. They then share all of your personal information with EVERYONE. Not even celebrity information is safe, Look up narcissist in the dictionary, and you find a picture of their founder, Lauren Zander. If you work for the Chief Marketing Officer, you will surely be abused - mentally and emotionally. She is lawsuit waiting to happen. I have never experienced a boss as cruel as her. She may be mentally ill. If you value yourself, you will never approach these people. RUN AWAY!

We respect our former employee’s opinion and are sorry for the negative experience that they had while in the employ of HG. Our company has a unique culture of transparency and honesty, which may not be suitable for everyone. In addition, please note that our former CMO has moved on from her position and a new individual now occupies that role.

Pros

Great to see Lauren Handel back rebuilding her first and original company. Old leadership left a mess and of course, bad reviews. Thankfully she is here to stay and is growing the business how she originally intended.

Cons

Takes time to rebuild a company but she is making it happen.

Pros

Some people on the team were actually decent to work with.

Cons

he whole place runs on who you know, not what you do, and it gets exhausting watching the same people get every good project while everyone else watches from the sidelines. There's this inner circle that just keeps feeding itself and the rest of us are expected to pick up the slack while they take credit for work they didn't even touch — which honestly gets old. No one even pretends it's fair anymore, people just accept it and move on, which is somehow worse because it means nobody's trying to fix it. The real problem is there's actual talent here that gets wasted because being good at your job doesn't matter, it matters if the right person likes you. You can feel the resentment building and people are jumping ship because they're tired of watching the same people fail up the ladder while doing actual work gets you nowhere. It's just depressing to watch a place where merit is treated like a joke.
