Pros

Monthly social allowance of £50 Can’t think of anything else.

Cons

Commission structure is terrible. You only get paid commission once the money hits their account and if the client asks for refund, it will be deducted from your pay the next month. Leadership is toxic Backwards environment - imagine a sales team in the 80’s Extremely salesy and you are made to put pressure on clients Avoid if you value your own sanity So many people have left the team this year because of management.

I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't feel happy in the role. Since December there have been many changes in 2022: new hierarchy structures to progress in your career, new abilities to use co-working spaces/time in office with the team monthly, external trainings to help with growth and skills, perks including health insurance that have additional benefits such as mental health/physical wellness assistance, and many more. The sales team has evolved as well by hiring from within to head up products so that the teams feel more individual-focused and working more on 1on1 growth with your dedicated mentors. As a result of these positive changes, the company is now ready to expand further into Europe and even USA! Thank you for your comments and I hope it brings you some confidence that we have acted upon them and made things more inclusive and modern.

Pros

-Working environment was fully remote while I was there. -Schedule was flexible and PTO was solid by U.S. standards

Cons

-In my opinion, mismanagement led to multiple rounds of mass layoffs. Business decisions seemed to be made erratically without much consideration for the impact on frontline staff or long-term sustainability. -The company culture was not in line with my values. Clients were misled about their chances of success and the scope of Grantify's services. -As a result of the (imo) misleading sales process, service delivery constantly had to deal with angry clients with no guidance from leadership on what to do, other than being discouraged from offering refunds or escalating. -Along similar lines, leadership was not honest with staff. Leading up to both rounds of layoffs, the message from leadership was that the company was in a strong financial position. Both rounds of layoffs were preceded by expensive "staff socials," which really called into question the way money was managed. -The pay was not at all in line with industry standards. There were multiple hard-working staff who were skipped over for promotions due to a "promotion freeze" or "re-working the advancement process" while people in the exact same roles who had buddies in leadership were promoted.
