Pros

Students are recruited for you. Client payments are taken care of for you - no scrambling with last minute cancellations, no-shows or crazy parents. Parent-Teacher conflicts are resolved by supportive and conscientious office staff.

Cons

Not many downsides. You might make a little less per lesson than if you taught on your own. But the office support makes this a good trade-off. I'm not good at arguing with parents over money or last minute cancellations. Not having to deal with the parents myself makes it completely worth it for me.

We're grateful to work with such incredible teaching partners! We're like a concierge for teachers, so you can focus on doing the things that you love. Thanks for being great at what you do!

Pros

Great clients, treat teachers well, flexibility, you are in charge of your own schedule and what you do or don't do. The pros far outweigh the cons and I love working with Forbes Music. Curtis recently sold and the new owner has been helpful in expanding my workload when desired.

Cons

Depending on which office you work for, sometimes the office support is not as helpful with scheduling changes / arranging your schedule. Driving in traffic during after school hours, but that is nothing wrong with the company, just the nature of teaching in-home music lessons.
