Pros

An appreciation of how well other organizations treat employees.

Cons

If you are a software engineer, or a have skills you think deserve dignity at any level, steer clear of this land mine. Office employees are treated like factory workers, having to clock in/out as they come and go. This "cloud" company lacks even the most elementary components of recent technology, and it shows in its core processes. Management only understands assembly line work (if that) and would rather count "chair time" than seek to solidify business requirements, or even lead the company in a consistent direction. Technological improvement suggestions for this SaaS middleman? Keep them to yourself - and get back to troubleshooting the AccessDB that acts as the company's backbone! If you value changing directions at a whim and wasting weeks of development effort at a time, this is the place for you. If not, run for the hills!

Pros

Excel Micro had a vast amount of autonomy from their parent company which is leading to a number of internal projects and digital transformation; this is a great help to increase customer experience

Cons

For many years, Excel Micro's parent company did not invest into the business leaving them far behind the competition in a number of categories... the aforementioned internal projects are reversing this poor oversight.

Pros

Very knowledgeable people in pre-sales that do a lot in helping you to understand the products being sold.

Cons

Zero marketing support for sales. Very competitive industry. You're a channel salesman / reseller.
