Employees are now more focused on job security than on performing with excellence, leading to increased turnover and a surge in job applications elsewhere. Additionally, workloads have substantially increased without corresponding salary raises, with management consistently claiming each year that "there’s no money, we can’t increase salaries, sorry." - In Portugal, the local manager exacerbates these issues with an inflated sense of self-importance, acting as if rules don’t apply to him and believing he’s superior. He willingly worsens work conditions to enhance his own image, eagerly delivering good news to gain favor but delegating bad news to subordinates to avoid accountability.
