      Your experience depends on the US Embassy connected to you, it is not exactly what Georgetown tells you it will be like. Bureaucracy can stop any project.

      Pros

      Great opportunity to expand professionally. Lots of flexibility and openness to new ideas which means you can usually implement your own creative programs. Opportunities to travel and experience a new culture - fun!

      Cons

      Not all universities are ready to have a Fellow or even understand what you're doing there. You may need to gently educate them about your role.
