Pros

Tuition waiver for yourself or dependents

Cons

Low pay. Cannot afford to live on just this salary alone. Raises are not adequate. Upper management is so out of touch with its employees. The one in charge of department locations used to work at the cafeteria, but because of connections, is now in a position making six figures. They don't even have a degree and they are constantly making a mess of things. They are now moving us to a building at the other end of campus and putting us into a room with no bathrooms, no running water, and little to no outside light. We have to go downstairs to get to the restrooms or have a private conversation. They could be using this building for classes, or people who need to be on campus to do their jobs. We do not need to be on campus. If you are going to make us be on campus, at least make the area nice instead of shoving us into a cramped, dark, room for 8-10 hours a day. The turnover rate for this department is the worst it has ever been. Everything was great until this current president came along. He has really ruined the morale of the faculty and staff.
