      Embedded Resources management was great to work with. The contracts you may get may or may not be as great.

      Cons

      The contract I had was highly reputable and exciting to work for but ended up being very challenging in regards to communication - lack of communication between teams and difficulty getting responses to followups which hindered progress on projects.

      Extremely supportive ERG contact, always available to support contractors. Great experience working as a contractor for them.

      Pros

      Fully remote for the project I was on. Good benefits package overall (albeit expensive. Great management: able to treat employees like adults and empathetic to work/life balance, while still being assertive about encouraging results, with outcome-driven mentality. I never felt micro-managed. Pay felt fair, if less than I was used to (for in-office role).

      Cons

      Pricey benefits package, especially healthcare for dependents. No incentives/bonus/equity. Performance management was not really a thing (yet - management was working on it). No real career path, but management doesn't discourage looking for other projects to transfer to.
