Pros

Excellent tech. Generally knowledgeable people. Generally people who care.

Cons

Management is inept, incompetent. Hostile HR. Technical leadership is scatterbrained doing everything but not doing most of it well.

Hello, It is unfortunate that you had a bad experience with us, for that I am truly sorry. Your comments are very emotional and not really aligned with other comments we are receiving, talking about how strong Talent (HR) and Management are at Electrosonic. I hope that you are now in a better place and have joined a company that is more of a cultural fit for you and your aspirations. We wish you all the success for the future.

Pros

- It’s no secret that Electrosonic does the coolest jobs in the AV industry. - Jobsites are often clean, granted… there is heavy construction too. PPE is always given when requested. Brand new. - Talented and enthusiastic co-workers. - If you are having a problem on site, wether it be a client, other trades, or even a coworker..IT WILL BE DEALT WITH. Don’t ask for help if you are going to regret it. - Travel to some incredible places around the USA and sometimes international - Hotel accommodations are alway decent. Sometimes even stellar. No motels. Ever - Training is paid for or reimbursed. - Downtime is paid. Many shops will bench you if work is slow, ESI will encourage you to complete training on downtime. - There is plenty of room for promotions and growth, as long as you are willing to be vocal. Your work speaks for itself, but you still need to follow up.

Cons

- As with any non-union shop, you have to negotiate your rate when you sign on. Set a goal/range and stick to it. The raises take a while, but they do come. Be patient or vocal. - Couple of years ago they changed from GSA rate per diem to a flat 65 when traveling domestically. Very disappointing. - Health benefits are not great, and very expensive if selecting a family plan. If you are flying solo or can stay on your spouses insurance, you should be okay.
