I have been working at Electronic Arts full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

great environment, you can bring your dog to work, take time to work out at the gym or play soccer on the pitch. smart goal oriented people. flexible hours. Nice cafeteria and cofeeshops inside campus.
good benefits.

Cons

Flexible hours can sometimes turn into working all the time. The game teams sometimes have crunch times that can mean weekend work.

Advice to Management

Try to look at people's unique qualities rather than a headcount. offer more praise based on that. Going lean on headcount is a good business practice, but doing so at the expense of work life balance will create attrition.

I worked at Electronic Arts as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

EAV provides numerous, top notch on-campus amenities that you wish you had at home! PLUS, when it comes to diversity and inclusion practices -- it's standard practice at EA. Important issues like these [equality, diversity, inclusion] aren't "issues" at home and they've taken the lead to launch related programs and initiatives with global industry partners [since at least 2013].

    Cons

Difficult to get a regular full-time (RFT) job. Temporary full-time (TFT) contracts seem to satisfy investors come quarterly report time... profit and operating budgets play a big role at EA.

I worked at Electronic Arts (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great people to work with
    - Team is dedicated

    Cons

    - Contract system that likely won't lead to a permanent role
    - Old tech

    Advice to Management

Change the way contracts are done for certain roles. Would probably boost morale for people that have been there longer due to seeing all the contractors leave every couple of months
