Pros

There are no better places to start off a career in accounting than with one of the Big Four. Good benefits.

Cons

Long hours and lots of travel which would be great, but i have a family that I miss terribly when I'm away.

I worked at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work environment was good and pretty laid back, there are a lot of very good people working at EY, its great for a first job and is looked upon highly by future employers, looks good on the resume

    Cons

Work just for the sake of working and billing hours, "busy season", unpredictable schedule and travel, some employees form cliques like in high school and gang up on others, reviews can be biased, they'll work you to death and then cut you if the economy goes in the tanks

    Advice to Management

Treat others as you would want to be treated; If you preach flexibility, don't just extend it to people with extraordinary situations--everyone can use some flexibility
