Every location is an entity unto itself, being shaped by the store management and personnel while working in the framework of the company. Senior management really cares about the staff with a family first mentality and has a healthy respect for the individuals in their employ.

You aren't going to get rich, but you won't dread going to your job every day. The ever changing market and products makes it difficult to keep on top of things for those that aren't passionate about photography/video. Not quick to throw around titles, so if your looking for a short stint and a resume stuffer it's not the place despite the business knowledge gained.

Cool for a couple months. Great discount on equipment / lab services, lots of learning opportunities, networking with local professionals and product representatives.

Base pay is less than minimum wage and commission is not the best, with no willingness to improve. Little to no marketing to bring in more business. Any available promotions are usually not worth it. They claim to be flexible with scheduling but they really aren't. Very self-sabotaging, and it's hard to get people to stay for long.
