Not the place it once was

      Pros

A meal a day (snacks are now not part of the Nightshift rotation anymore) RA contribution Minimal medical aid contributions Low salary increases

      Cons

Shares are taxed on the sale and then again on your salary - make it math? Poor to putrid to horrible to nonexistent management High staff turn over We are loosing more people than what we can gain HR has a nonchalant attitude to the welfare of the staff unless it's a Sexual harassment case (we'll, "allow" a lot just not another sexual harassment scandal) Top Management makes changes and enforces it - if you question it you are told "no one's asking you to stay". HR will pay you for one skill and not recognise all the skill and knowledge you gained because you're not the one they know or prefer "if you're not happy - you may leave" TOXIC CULTURE I once thought this company is the Top Tier but that has quickly disappeared. Multiple resignations on a daily basis, retrenchments galore - people working in fear of not knowing if they'll be next on the hit list for retrenchment. Multiple jobs up for offer - minimal successful applications. Department faces have remained the same, for the longest time Upper management seems to be the only people who get promoted - buddy buddy.

        Pros

-Awesome collaborative community of people -You build a network of intelligent and great people in Tech -Opportunities to grow and transition across roles. Many internal job openings -Free Lunch, Team bonding events, Year end parties. Free Gym, Free Spa and Wellness programs Flexible working hours, Hybrid WFH and WFO

        Cons

-Difficult to motivate for salary increase. -Politics. You have to put your work in peoples face to get seen or heard. -Promotion is not by default. You can be stuck in the same role for years if you dont apply to be promoted. The process is very rigorous and a lot of people get rejected. -Juniors & intermediates are hardly given room to be innovative. The pressure is very high -People are barely rewarded or recognize for awesome delivery. A lot of people leave because they dont feel seen and acknowledged

        Marketing Manager

I had a 2nd round interview with the hiring manager and want to send them a post interview thank you note, but I was not given their email address. What’s the best non-invasive way to go about this? Reach out to recruiter? LinkedIn?
