Pros

You get to be a part of the Hearst network and be at the largest women's magazine in the world. You will learn a lot as long as you ask questions and put your best foot forward. It was clear that if you did not work hard, you would not be getting ahead.

Cons

It's very stereotypically feminine. The conversations can kind of brainwash you into becoming the stereotypical Cosmo Girl, but if you focus on the business and administrative side of it all, it can be a great place to learn.

Pros

Very chic office, loved the freebies and happy hours. Celebrity sightings was always fun.

Cons

I was a contractor for the snapchat team and was expected to bring my own computer and use my own Adobe subscription, which in hindsight was a little insane. I found out later that the freelance illustrators was given an adobe subscription which rubbed me the wrong way.
