Pros

There are a lot of really smart, dedicated people that work here that are passionate about CliniComp's customers and the other members of the teams they are a part of.

Cons

Severe micromanagement occurs across all levels of leadership. Family ties outweigh competency for some positions. Recent trend towards all local employees vs remote is taking the company backwards, not forwards. You should have the best person for the job, not simply a body sitting in San Diego that can be summoned downstairs to the CEO when he snaps his fingers. There is absolutely no regard for the company's customers. Decisions are solely driven by the CEO's whim of the day. Recent and unwarranted personnel decisions have obliterated morale across the company. This company continues to do things the same way and expecting different results. There is zero work-life balance for salaried employees. Employees are contacted at all hours of the day and night by Management for non-urgent matters. Burn out is very real. Extremely siloed organization where only the engineering teams (no matter how many mistakes they make) are shown any respect from leadership.

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Had a lot of autonomy and space to work on projects.

Cons

As mentioned in headline, there are a couple guys who hold too much unofficial power and can really derail your efforts if you get on their bad side or if they feel threatened by your success. Current employees will know who I am talking about.
