Pros
There is a good working environment, there is some freedom to choose research lines, some of the employees are experts in their fields and one can learn a lot from them. Excellent work life balance for research.
Cons
loots of the good researches left CTTC while I was there. The managers are quite young, and is very hard if no impossible to get promoted. It looks like the hiring and promotion policy works in a contacts/friends basis: it looks like most of the promotions and new contracts are given in advance to director friends,ex employees....
