Pros
Pro-employee, time-off, sick time is unquestioned (typically). Management works schedules, flexibility for hours. As a part-time employee, mgmt. does not schedule holidays because we are not entitled to the same pay as FT employees. Part-time is a 8 hour shift for 3 days rather than 4-5 six hour shifts. And we are CLOSED on Sundays!! Can’t say enough good.
Cons
Hours are mostly retail. I used to know I would be out by 6:30ish to be home with my family, but now my position requires occasional 7:30 shifts which I am not fond of. And 2 the occasional 2 Saturday shifts per month.
